me with cats

It's SUNDAY and beautiful outside, but I'm stuck in here on the computer.

I have a bottle of wine open and I'm writing my chemistry lab report. Science, especially the inorganic chem, works better with a little of the organics for lubrication, I'm convinced.

So, say I have about a year to learn how to speak some French. What's a good way to do it? Rosetta Stone software? podcasts and books? 101 college classes? watch Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain and Les quatre cents coups over and over again?
